A testosterone troche is a small lozenge that is designed to dissolve slowly in the mouth. They are typically placed between the cheek and gum, where they dissolve over time, allowing the testosterone to be absorbed through the oral mucosa into the bloodstream. This method of delivery bypasses the liver, rather than swallowing a pill which is then broken down by the liver to become ineffective.

FAQ's
What is included in the TRT plan? For $95 per month, this includes 2.5 month supply of Testosterone Cypionate (most commonly 200 mg/week), anastrozole (aromatase inhibitor), syringes, initial consultation and follow up with license medical provider.
Do you prescribe to patients in my state? Right now we only prescribe to SC residents. Please continue to check back as we expand our practice!
Are there any interactions with other medications or conditions? Yes, TRT can interact with certain medications and conditions. It's important to inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements, and discuss any medical conditions you have, such as prostate issues or cardiovascular disease. We do not prescribe testosterone replacement therapy to any patients with a history of prostate cancer.
Are labs included? We do not include labs in the monthly price. We give patients the option to either provide us with their own labs or order them through TRTme (can have them drawn at your local Labcorp or Quest diagnostics center). Our lab fee is only $129.
Can I receive TRT without lab work? No. Unfortunately the only way to determine if you are a candidate for testosterone replacement therapy is through a blood test.
Are there lifestyle changes that can complement testosterone replacement therapy? Yes, maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise, a balanced diet, adequate sleep, and stress management can complement the benefits of TRT and improve overall well-being.
Which labs are reviewed? Complete Blood Count (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Testosterone, Estradiol, and Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
What are the potential side effects of testosterone replacement therapy? Common side effects may include acne, fluid retention, and increased red blood cell count. Less commonly males may develop some signs of gynecomastia (breast enlargement) which can be mitigated by aromatase inhibitors (anastrazole). Rare but serious side effects can include worsening of sleep apnea, infertility, and an increased risk of cardiovascular events. You can discuss these potential risks with our medical providers.
Is testosterone replacement therapy safe for long-term use? TRT can be safe for long-term use under the supervision of a healthcare provider who monitors your testosterone levels and any potential side effects. Regular follow-up visits are important to assess efficacy and safety.
